Lawi Content
30-Minute Express Training:
Designed for the busy professional, this session gets you up and running in 30 minutes or less. Express Training familiarizes you with the basic functions of the product, and shows you how to access a wide range of content and practice tools.

Basic Training:
In this hour-long session, participants will develop basic research skills using the content of their BNA product. Participants will also experience the integration of the components of the service: expert analysis, news and developments, primary sources, special reports, practice tools, etc.

30-Minute Express Training
Program Content:
Get a quick, 30-minute overview of how to use the Tax and Accounting Center, including the many features that are a part of the Center. You’ll see how the Center’s intuitive interface, easy to use navigation, and powerful search engine allow you to quickly locate information and yield more effective results. In addition, you’ll learn how to manage important information more efficiently by saving your searches using the Search History feature and by saving relevant documents as favorites.
Accounting for US Lawyers
Learning Objectives:
In this hour-long instructor-led group session, participants will enhance their research skills using the content of the Accounting Policy & Practice collection. Participants will also experience the integration of the Center’s components, including expert analysis, news and developments, special reports, and practice tools.
Program Content:
Participants work through a scenario-based exercise employing three different research strategies while learning to locate answers in the expert analysis of the Accounting Portfolios. The course prepares participants to quickly and efficiently retrieve information, to conduct thorough and effective research, and to use the tax law platform enhanced functionality.
International Tax (Foreign Portfolios and foreign Tax Practice)
Learning Objectives:
In this hour-long instructor-led group session, participants will enhance their research skills using the content of the International Tax collection. Participants will also experience the integration of the Center’s components, including expert analysis, news and developments, journals, special reports, and practice tools.
Program Content:
Participants work through a scenario-based exercise employing three different tax research strategies while learning to locate answers in the expert analysis of the Foreign Portfolios and foreign chapters of the Tax Practice Series. The course prepares participants to quickly and efficiently retrieve information, to conduct thorough and effective tax research, and to use the international tax law platform enhanced functionality.

The Lawi User’s Guides and How To Cards are available for many Lawi materials and services. The How To Cards are designed to give you quick tips and a look at the basic functionality of the legal material. The User’s Guides provide additional information on the basic functionality.
