Notes on Preparation of Entries for the Encyclopedia of Law

Intgroduction

The Wiki Encyclopedia of Law is based on information available from a wide variety of sources, including government documents; academic papers and International Organizations . While sme of the information that we use is already public, other information is attributed to its author. The Encyclopedia does not use sources or information it believes lack credibility.

We attempt to make the entries comprehensive, objective, and -to some degree- uniform in both scope and quality of coverage. We seek to maintain a high standard of consistency in the entries despite the multiplicity of sources and diversity of the countries of the world, but there is also an emphasis on flexibility in style in the interest of readability.
